Everyone else’s

Most of us must have — at least once — wondered how cool everyone else is doing. Oh wow, their life is so perfect. Oh they have cool jobs. Oh they accomplished this and that. And so on, the list continues. But the thing is, everyone is possibly thinking the same way about us.

I used to wonder, why people always said that the things they have been doing are nothing? It is just it. Then I realise, I do the same thing. I never recognise my works and my dreams are extraordinary. I always think that it is just my job, that is what I do everyday to make a living. And my dreams are small, because anyone else can achieve it in a blink of an eye — it is my stupidity that makes my path not an easy way.

But actually, everyone has different rocky roads to go through. We all also have different dreams, different goals and different definitions of success and “oh-my-life-is-great!”. Does knowing these facts make everything a lot easier? Definitely not. Don’t forget that among the spectators we have, we also have commenters who are ready to……… comment on our choices — hey, some of them give good feedback, while the other is ya, you know. And the bittersweet truth is, your friendly-neighbourhood social media platforms are not helping in any way.

So, whenever I start to wonder about how aur-auran my life is and how excellent the others are, I keep repeating to myself that everyone has a different story and I am doing my best to achieve my dream, planning my story and living my own life as the main character of my messy, ordinary, but hey, there are nice surprises in there too life. Everything you do that you never recognised as a big, good thing maybe happens because you are so good at it. Because with the little things that you do, you may give some help, happiness and make every person’s life a little bit brighter than before.

Life has never been easy, indeed. Not an easy way to go through, but life changes. Wheels spin. Shits happen. Let’s make the most of our lives, because like everyone else in this world, each one of us has no idea what is going on next — we just need to do the best and face whatever this world throws at us.
