Embun,

I know things are hard lately. Well, for several past years at least. You’ve been questioning yourself way too much for every loss you’ve experienced. Loss of friend (or friends? Well, who knows). Loss of chance(s). Loss of someone you care the most — someone who at first you thought made you finally able to trust in love again. Loss of trust. A lot of that, here, there and everywhere.

Embun,

I am glad that you decided to let it go, go out and start again — like Kodaline said on your favourite song of theirs — even though it is hard as hell. I am glad that you seek any help that you need. I am glad that you still have people who care for you and have your back no matter what weather is — and you really appreciate them wholeheartedly. I am glad that even though it is you against all of this world, against your own doubt, against your own self, you still manage to get going.

Embun,

I can’t promise that everything will be easier in the future. It may be, but it may not. But you will learn things. You will know that you can always start again. You can plan again. You can choose to believe in yourself, believe in love, believe in everything, over and over again. You will grow. You will see that you finally manage to get where you want to be at the right time. You will figure out that the people who truly care for you, will always be there for you. You will be yourself again. The best version of you, to be exact. You will find that someone again.

Embun,

I hope that whatever it may lead to, you will find happiness anyway. I hope you will be always grateful everyday, even though it kicks your ass hard and maybe tests you to your limit. Please don’t worry your pretty little mind, because it will always work out eventually in the end. And when the sky turns grey and rain pours too hard again, remember this: You are more than your failure, your loss and whatever they talk about you, whatever sticks to you. You are Embun, and the Embun that I have known since years ago is someone who is worthy for every best thing that happens in this world.

Let’s start again, let’s face this world and its surprises, again.

With every best thing you deserve in this world,

Embun.
